Note d'application:	Afecciones del INTESTINO caracterizadas por excesiva pérdida gastrointestinal de proteínas séricas, incluyendo ALBÚMINA, INMUNOGLOBULINAS y a veces LINFOCITOS. Pueden producir un cuadro clínico grave con HIPOGAMMAGLOBULINEMIA o LINFOPENIA. Las enteropatías perdedoras de proteínas se asocian a diversas enfermedades como LINFANGIECTASIA INTESTINAL, ENFERMEDAD DE WHIPPLE y NEOPLASIAS del INTESTINO DELGADO.

Note d'application:

Pathological conditions in the INTESTINES that are characterized by the gastrointestinal loss of serum proteins, including SERUM ALBUMIN; IMMUNOGLOBULINS; and at times LYMPHOCYTES. Severe condition can result in HYPOGAMMAGLOBULINEMIA or LYMPHOPENIA. Protein-losing enteropathies are associated with a number of diseases including INTESTINAL LYMPHANGIECTASIS; WHIPPLE'S DISEASE; and NEOPLASMS of the SMALL INTESTINE.
